Great Southwestern Construction proudly sponsors three certified Apprenticeship Programs registered through the Department of Labor; Lineman, Substation Electrician, and Distribution Lineman.

The training for these programs is provided through the Northwest Line College’s Power & Delivery Program. Apprentices have the most current training and information available through this training system. Testing is available through the NLC website and all apprentice testing records are kept online as well as in our Apprenticeship Department which provides a more comprehensive and accurate record of each apprentice’s stage of training.

In addition to the apprenticeship programs, all employees are currently trained in OSHA 10/30 hr. and D.O.T. certified training courses. Great Southwestern Construction also requires our crews to be trained in the following:
