![]() | White River Electric Assn. Inc. of Meeker, Colorado recently completed a large 345kV Transmission line and Substations project. This project was completed in less than 2 years from inception to energization. Great Southwestern (GSW) of Castle Rock, Colorado was the successful bidder on both the line and substation. GSW mobilized, constructed, energized and reclaimed on time while losing almost 6 weeks of construction time due to one of the wettest springs in recent Colorado history. This $40 million project went through some very rough and challenging terrain. The success of this project to deliver load at the project date was because GSW was able to accomplish the construction activities in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend consideration of GSW for future projects. Richard Welle, General Manager - WREA
Today we energized the transmission line, the 230kV portion of the substation, and the Main Power Transfomer at Smoky Hills II (Wind Farm). I wanted to congratulate you and your company on a successful energization, and thank you for your continued commitment to completing quality projects. Your substation crew, transmission line crew, engineers, and testers have all made this project one to be proud of. Jacob Miller
Thank you for providing the City of Forsyth a great product that will provide a very reliable service to our customers. Your crews were very professional in the performance/installation of the electrical distribution system at the Tift Campus project. Alvin L. Randall, Jr.
I would like to send you my thanks and appreciation for your excellence in completing our 76 miles of 230 kV line for the Cedar Creek Wind Project to Keenesburg substation in northeast Colorado. I would like to acknowledge your exceptional performance and excellent safety record while working under much duress, difficult project terrain and a very tight project schedule. In every difficult turn, your team came up with an excellent alternative to maintain safety, our budget and schedule.
