November 15, 2017 Great Southwestern Construction and Other MYR Group Subsidiaries Help During Active Storm Season

HURRICANES HARVEY, IRMA CAUSE POWER OUTAGES FOR NEARLY NINE MILLION PEOPLE

2017 has been one of the most active, dangerous and expensive Atlantic storm seasons to date. Close to nine million people lost power on the mainland following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Five MYR Group subsidiaries, The L.E. Myers Co., Sturgeon Electric, Harlan Electric Company, E.S. Boulos and Great Southwestern Construction, dispatched crews to assist with the power restoration.

We commend our crews for their sacrifice and efforts to overcome the challenges associated with emergency storm response. Line workers throughout the company have received an incredible reception from people expressing gratitude for helping to restore the power to their communities.
