This full EPC project included a ring bus expansion of a Public Service Company of New Mexico 345kV substation and the construction of a new 345kV collector substation for a 400MW solar project for the Jicarilla Apache Nation Power Authority (JANPA).

Great Southwestern also installed approximately 7 miles of 345kV transmission line and performed associated distribution work as part of the project.

The project took place on the Jicarilla Apache Nation’s reservation in the mountains and rugged mesas of northern New Mexico.
