Great Southwestern Construction’s scope of work included a 13-mile, 138kV energized rebuild, utilizing robotic arms to hold phases while new structures were set and a new second circuit was pulled under energized conditions. The rebuild consisted of 69 tangent steel monopole structures, 11 angle steel monopole structures, 15 steel dead-end structures, one three-pole switch structure, and two existing H-frame switch structures. The 15 dead-end structures consisted of 10 monopole dead-ends, three two-pole dead-ends, and two three-pole dead-ends. All structures are double-circuit capable.
