Great Southwestern staff and crews designed and built a new substation for the City of Fountain Utilities. As a turnkey EPC project, Great Southwestern developed the design from conceptual to final, constructed the new facility, and provided remote-end updates to the North Fountain Substation.
City of Fountain Utilities, a public utility, provides electric service for 18,000 customers in Fountain, Widefield, and part of Security, a 66-square-mile service territory. The Jimmy Camp Creek Substation provides capacity and redundancy to the current distribution system.
