Chapelle Creek Substation ^Substation

This project consisted of a bay and a half 345kV greenfield substation. It included three 345 breakers, ten 345kV switches, nine CTs, overhead strain bus, rigid bus, and six 345kV dead-end structures. Great Southwestern supplied the foundations, conduit, grounding, lighting, fencing, control cable materials, and testing and commissioning. The project was completed one month ahead of schedule and under budget, with no significant safety incidents.
