Timberland 230kV Substation and Transmission Line ^Transmission

Great Southwestern was the prime contractor constructing a new 230kV/13.2kV substation for Entergy, which is a 230kV, four breaker, 3000A ring bus with two line terminals. The substation was constructed with provisions for an ultimate arrangement of six 230kV breakers, three 230kV line terminals, three 230/13.2kV transformers, and twelve 13.2kV feeder positions.

The project also required the construction of nine miles of 230kV double-circuit transmission line.
